-Tell us about your journey as a filmmaker.

When I was 15 years old I received my first model job in a fashion show. From 15 to 20 years I was working as a model, as a journalist. When I was 20 years old I got my first job as an actress for a music video for a famous singer. Since that time I fell in love with the shooting process. When I was 22 I came to the shooting for the horror movie of my husband Valeriy Pereverzev and since that time I started to realise myself as a producer and screenwriter. After a long period of time we started our relations with Valeriy. And we started to work together on the creative process of making films. After that we got married, make 3 kids and 5 movies..as for me , I graduated from the VGIK University.

-Which artists have inspired you the most?

Famous artists Sergei Eisenstein, Andrej Tarkovskij, Tatiana Lioznova, Nikita Mikhalkov, David Lynch, etc. inspired me a lot in my career. It the Russian famous one and one of the oldest film universities! Also I started to write scripts. My script “Harrasing” which I wrote together with my husband Valeriy received the awards as the “Best comedy script” of one of the biggest scriptwriters contests- about this win wrote “The Hollywood Reporter”, “Screen” and “Variety”. Right now I am mother of 3 kids, also I made few new films “Moscow Shadows”, “The Mission”, “Fashion House”, “CENTR”, “Inside the Whale” and one a very special film about the Siberian scientists and researchers…

–The history of Russian cinema and literature is among the most prestigious in the world; how much have they influenced your training?

I think that Sergey Eisenstein, Nikita Mikhalkhov, Andrey Tarkovskij – are the best examples of talented filmmakers. I am very proud to be from one country as they are and to make films also.

-Wild Filmmaker is the largest community in the world for directors, screenwriters, and independent producers, where all artists are welcome. Do you think that through art, it is possible to build peace among nations?

I think that art is one of the greatest forms of power in the world. Art is a kind of therapy.
